Our Vision 

Grassroots Chess Promotions was founded by a group of passionate chess players to promote the game of chess to the grassroots-level, hence the name.

In pursuit of this goal, we use the Internet as the primary medium of interaction. We hold online chess tournaments, organize on-line coaching, and provide on-line resources through the web and by e-mail.

Chess as a sport or game is unique. It’s a game that is good for anyone to learn, whether you become a Grandmaster or just learn the moves and the basics. Numerous studies have shown that the game of chess help children and students do better in their studies.

Among all sports, chess is by far the least expensive. And over the Internet, it continues to be so.

It is our Vision that every household shall have at least one chess player.
